Motorbike Flag & Bending Competition
This competition combines agility and control as riders on motorbikes weave through poles or carry flags from one station to another. It’s quick to run, fun to watch, and highlights skill and precision rather than speed alone.
Competition Regulations
NSW Motorbike Flag Rules and Regulations
- All motorbikes must be transported to the showgrounds by vehicle or trailer.
- Bikes must not be started or ridden outside of the designated motorbike area.
- Parents and spectators must remain behind fenced areas unless acting as marshals.
- A 25-metre separation between the event and the crowd must be maintained at all times.
- Riders must follow all instructions and signals from track marshals or officials.
- No competitor under the influence of alcohol or drugs will be permitted to compete. Random testing may occur.
- All riders must sign the AgShows NSW waiver form before competing. Entry to the ring is only permitted with a valid armband.
All competitors must wear the following:
- Approved helmet
- Long-sleeved top to protect arms and body from abrasion
- Full-length trousers (non-combustible material preferred)
- Boots made of leather or other durable material
- Riders will pass 5 or 6 cones, collecting flags one at a time, starting from the furthest cone.
- Riders start and finish at the designated start line.
- Only one motorbike is allowed on the course at any time.
- Events are timed and results are final.
- Riders will be eliminated for:
- Not following the course correctly
- Failing to re-enter the course properly
- Riders will weave through 5 or 6 cones, alternating left and right sides to the final cone, then return in the same pattern.
- Riders start and finish at the designated start line.
- Only one motorbike is allowed on the course at any time.
- Events are timed and results are final.
- Riders will be eliminated for:
- Not following the course correctly
- Failing to re-enter the course properly
Junior Competitors
- Minimum age: 7 years
- Minimum riding experience: 2 years
- Bike capacity: Maximum 125cc
Senior Competitors
- Minimum age: 18 years
- Minimum riding experience: 2 years
- Bike capacity: Maximum 750cc
