Ariah Park Show

The Ariah Park Pastoral, Agricultural, Horticultural and Industrial Association was formed in 1908, with J.G. Davey as president, A.T. White as secretary and A.H. Rudd as treasurer. Shows were held annually from its founding, apart from a brief interruption during wartime. Reflecting the district’s mixed farming, exhibits ranged from dogs and poultry to ring events. Clydesdales, trotting, show jumping and riding events providing continuous ring entertainment.
