Barraba Show

The Barraba Pastoral, Agricultural and Horticultural Association was formed in 1903. Early public support helped fund essential buildings, with continued improvements made over time. The first show was held in April 1904, establishing a tradition of strong competition across livestock sections including Horse, cattle, sheep and wool exhibits. Open camp drafting, introduced in 1932, added further appeal to the program.
