Show History
The Blayney Agricultural and Pastoral Association was formed in 1889. The first show was held in a paddock of Marsden's ''Anahdale" property. The highlight was an exhibit of a pair of alpacas (llamas) from South America, shown by Walter McPhillamy, of Bathurst. The show was held from 1908-1970 on a site now occupied by Blayney High School. The present showground of 44½ acres is used regularly by trotting clubs of the Central West.
