Braidwood Show

The Braidwood Pastoral, Agricultural and Horticultural Association was formed in 1875, with its first show held in 1876 at the racecourse, where prizes were awarded as finely crafted silver medals. A permanent showground was secured in 1883, followed by the construction of a pavilion in 1884.
