Show History 

The Castle Hill Show Society was officially formed in 1886 and was cited in the "Town and Country Journal" in 1887 as the Central Cumberland Agricultural and Horticultural Association. The showground was dedicated on July 30, 1890, and has been functioning on this site continuously ever since, except for compulsory breaks during World Wars I and II. Since the formation of the ASC in 1929, Castle Hill has always been closely associated with the parent body.
