Show History
The Coffs Harbour and District Agricultural Society was formed in 1914, with a committee of 15 and its first Secretary was Charles Vost. The Coffs Harbour Show has been held on the same site since its formation. The early shows featured dairying and small crops, and expanded to include bananas, kiwi fruit and avocados. The Showground is situated near the centre of the town and is used by many organisations for recreation purposes and forms a green belt in the town planning.
