Show History
The Cootamundra Agricultural, Pastoral, Horticultural and Industrial Association was formed during 1881, with its first show on March 29, 1882, in Albert Park. The present showground was dedicated for the use of the A.P.H. & I. in that year. In both World Wars, the showground was occupied by military forces. In 1982, the 90-year-old main pavilion and grandstand was burnt down just four weeks before the centenary of the first show. A new pavilion was constructed and the Cootamundra Show moved on into its second century
