Crookwell Show

The Crookwell Agricultural, Horticultural and Pastoral Society was founded in October 1878, and its showground has shifted three times since. A pavilion built on the second site was later relocated to the present grounds. Set in one of Australia’s finest wool-growing and sheep-breeding districts, Crookwell’s show has long reflected the quality of the region’s flocks, with many fleeces and sheep progressing to the Royal for exhibition.
