Eugowra Show

The Eugowra Pastoral, Agricultural and Horticultural Association grew from early 20th-century carnivals, where sideshows included horse-operated merry-go-rounds with regularly changed ponies. In 1908, the Farmers’ and Settlers’ Association staged a more formal event, introducing classes for horses, cattle, sheep, wheat, schoolwork and cookery. Four such carnivals followed before the Eugowra Show was formed in 1912, later becoming the present association.
