Show History
The Eurobodalla District Show Society stemmed from the Moruya Agricultural and Pastoral Society founded in 1872. The first show was held the same year in a local park. Another of the early exhibitions was staged on the verandah of "Merlyn" in Campbell Street, organised by Abraham Emmott, a general storekeeper. Ploughing matches were held until 1922 on a farm at Mullenderree. The society changed its name to Eurobodalla to represent the district.
