Hillston Show

Early records of the Hillston Pastoral and Agricultural Association have been lost, though the first show is believed to have been held in the late 1870s under the name of the Lachlan Show. Records from 1930 onwards survive, with secretary A.F. Rathmell noting that in 1931 there were 52 nominations for the committee, requiring a postal ballot to reduce numbers to 36 as set by the constitution.
