Show History
The Luddenham District Agricultural and Horticultural Society held its first show on a property 500 metres south-east of the present showground in May, 1891. It was a great success, with more than 700 entries and an attendance exceeding 1,000 people. The present showground, on the corner of Park Road and Campbell Street, was purchased at £200 ($400) per acre in 1892. The Luddenham Show was promoted as the "Pink Show".
