Show History 

The Morongla Pastoral, Agricultural and Horticultural Association grew from the popular “Morongla Carnival,” which flourished in the Cowra district after World War I. Early carnivals featured strong horse events, sheaf tossing, foot races and arts and crafts exhibits. Following World War II, a surge in trotting led organisers to introduce registered races, prompting the formation of a P.A. & H. Association to gain affiliation with the NSW Trotting Authority.
