Mullumbimby Show

The Mullumbimby Agricultural Society was formed in 1905 and granted 22 acres of virgin scrub at the foot of Mt. Chincogan. A committee of 35 men cleared the land and established the showground. Now the district’s oldest public organisation, the society is known for its picturesque grounds and fine shade trees. Its reputation was enhanced by the receipt of 34 distinctive trophies from overseas. The show has attracted notable figures over the years, including two Governors, a Premier and many prominent citizens, along with two internationally known women who have officially opened the event.
