Peak Hill Show

The Peak Hill Pastoral, Agricultural and Horticultural Association was formed in 1901, with C.B. Humphrey as first president. A show has been staged every year, except two, since then. One show was abandoned during the Depression and a carnival held instead. Another show was cancelled during the war years. The site of the Peak Hill Showground is the original one about half a mile on the outskirts of the town. The pavilion is also the original one, with portions being added over the years.
