Show History 

Much of the early history of the Quirindi & District Pastoral, Agricultural and Horticultural Association disappeared when the books of the society were lost in a fire in the School of Arts building in 1912. It is known that the foundation president was George Nowland and the secretary J.P. Rogers. The first show was held in 1901 on a ground in Loder Street, now Rose Lee Park. Two other moves were made until the association found its present home in the Quirindi Racecourse-Showground complex.
