Show History
The Uralla Show is conducted by the Southern New England Pastoral and Agricultural Association, formed in 1873 to stage joint shows for Uralla and Walcha. Walcha later broke away in 1890 to form its own association, while Uralla retained the original name. Uralla’s strong link to the bushranger “Thunderbolt” was highlighted at the 1973 Centenary Show with a mock hold-up of the first committee meeting, staged by descendants of early members.
