Trade Space Holders play a vital role in creating a vibrant and commercially successful Show environment.
To support a safe and professionally run event, all Trade Space Holders—both commercial operators and hobbyists—must have appropriate Public Liability Insurance in place, ensuring compliance and protecting your Show Society from unnecessary risk.

All Trade Space Holders at Showgrounds are required to be covered by Public Liability Insurance to the value of $20 million. Both Commercial and Hobbyist Trade Space Holders.
Commercial Trade Space Holders must show you proof of their Liability insurance. This should be in the form of a Certificate of Currency noting their insured name and a current period of insurance.
Hobbyists, defined as those not running a commercial enterprise, with no ABN and annual turnover of less than $20,000, may automatically be covered under the AgShows NSW Liability insurance program. A separate insurance fee cannot be charged for this insurance extension however you may charge a higher Trade Space Holder Fee. Please ensure your documentation does not specifically note a separate fee for insurance purposes.
Special Note: As Trade Space Holders activities can vary, we point out that the intention of extending this insurance to Hobbyists is under the assumption that they do not conduct any high-risk activities. It is envisaged that these Hobbyists are selling home made products or other goods of a low-risk nature. No such cover is extended to amusement rides of any fashion. If you are unsure whether the cover to Hobbyists is extended or not, please consult with AgShows NSW.
Please note: AgShows NSW Public Liability insurance does not extend to Hobbyists in any manner for any Products Liability exposure.
It is your responsibility to make sure those using your grounds are fully insured and covered.
Use the form to list ALL space holders and collect the appropriate amount for their use of the Showgrounds.

- Gate takings up to $50,000: $40 per site
- Gate takings over $50,000: $60 per site
